This beautiful house, all in stone, was beautifully decorated by a Croatian who has lived in France for many years (35 years). She even had a cottage there. So she knows all about the reception, comfort and tranquility of vacationers!! She even installed the French rooster on the roof of their house!!

You are in the village of Barci, 5 km from the seaside (10 minutes by car): Crikvenica, and 34 km from Rijeka (40 minutes). It's not really Istria, it's the Kvarner. You are right next to Rijeka and Opatija.

This location can be an ideal stopover on your trip between France and the Split region.

Or an ideal holiday spot in the countryside (with a sea view however!) to visit Istria, Plitvice Lakes and the island of Krk.

Vesna is retired and is extremely warm and friendly! Ideal to spend nice moments with on the beautiful terrace!

Some ideas for a week-long holiday at Vesna's - do a one day tour of: Pula, Rovinj and Porec: these are small towns, very close to each other, so you can visit them in one day; another day: Lovran and Opatija: I loved it;  another day: Plitvice: so beautiful;  another day: the island of Krk (there is a bridge which makes it easier), and afterwards continue by boat to Mali Losinj or Cres, you can also do this in 2 days; Rijeka: nothing special, no need to waste your time.
