In istrie, you can visit : Pula, Rovinj, porec, Opatija, Lovran and so more ….

Pula

  • A city rich of monuments: Roman monuments and  the arenas ... a bit weird but I'll let you judge for yourself. Anyway: we could say that the proximity of buildings of the Yugoslav period will give you difficulty to project yourself at the time of antiquity or the time the middle ages!

But there are many other monuments to see in Pula Forum (up pretty busy in the summer), the Temple of Augustus with its lovely portico six Corinthian columns, City Hall Gothic and Renaissance the castle with its lovely view of the city and the port of Pula, Cathedral, St. Mary's chapel in the Byzantine style, the Roman Theatre, the archaeological museum.

Rovinj and Porec

To cross Slovenija

When you come from France, you must cross a few kilometers from Slovenia. There are two ways to do this: the first is to take the highway: you will have to buy a vignette in a service station before entering the highway or at the border. Warning, if you control the police (which happens often) and you do not have the sticker, you will pay a fine of 150 to 300 euros. ... If you forgot to paste the sticker: 150 euros. Cost of the sticker: 30 euros for 1 month. Otherwise thumbnail to eight days too (2012 prices). Or you can take the main road so you do not pay the sticker and in addition, it gives you a chance to see the beautiful scenery of Slovenia. Look at the map.
