Orasac is a small village of 350 inhabitants by the sea, 14 km from Dubrovnik. There are 2 grocery stores and a restaurant. This village has a nice little cove that isn't crowded. The first city is Zaton, 10 minutes by car.
This house is exactly what we, the French people, love! Charming guestrooms and a very friendly welcome (read my guestbook), all rooms have a magnificent sea view, and the owner's son cooks every night in his "konoba" ... how wonderful! The house is over 400 years old and has been renovated to have all the necessary modern comforts. Like many small castles have, there is a small adjoining chapel. A large terrace with stone pillars surrounded by Mediterranean flowers and vineyards invite all guests to relax in an atmosphere of tranquility. A wonderful view of the sea and the islands. Apart from tourism, the owners of the castle also grow their own vegetables, make olive oil, wines and liqueurs, produce their own smoked ham, and other products that guests can enjoy. The owner, Marija, offers dinner: between 14 and 20 euros/pers.
The house is composed on the right side of 3 bedrooms with a bathroom (single) upstairs and 2 bedrooms with a kitchen all overlooking the sea.
And on the left side, an apartment for 4 + 2 pers. with an independent kitchen, overlooking the back garden of the house. There is a garden on the ground floor, facing the sea, available for all holidaymakers. Owner speaks English and German, you will find pedestrian paths near the castle.
Free WIFI! The owner can pick you up at the airport for 30 euros.
Sheets and blankets are provided. The sheets are changed once a week.
